Ethel and Leon Stuba

Excuse me as I take a moment to remember my grandparents. It has been almost 13 years since my grandfather passed away and 11 years since my grandmother passed away. I miss them so much and I can't believe they have been gone that long. They are my dads mom and stepdad. Grandpa married grandma when dad was young so he was part of the family forever. Don't tell dad I said forever, cause he would think I was calling him old.
I had come across this picture when I was looking for pictures of Evan to post on his kindergarten post. When I found it, I knew I wanted to put it on here, so thank you for letting me share them with you for just a few minutes.
I am not sure when this picture was taken, but my guess is maybe 1990 -- 1992. Not sure but sometime in there.
I love and miss you both!!!

Ven, I love you very much and I hope you have a good school year. I am very proud of you and what you have already done in Pre-School and I know you can do just as well in Kindergarten. Love and miss you! Aunt Becky

I just wanted to add that I talked to Ethan the other day. He said he just wanted to see what I was doing? We were talking, about nothing really, just talking. Then I asked him about starting school soon. He said, "I can't believe I am going to be starting 1st grade." I told him I could not believe it either. He then said, "I also can't believe that Evan is going to be starting Kindergatden." I asked him about Evan being excited to start kindergarten. He told me that he did not know if he was excited because he has not acted excited yet about sarting "real" schoo. See Evan has been going to pre-school, so I guess Eth does not think of that as real School. I just had to share.

Ok, I wanted to do a special post for my nephew. Evan Noel Jackson.
Evan is going to be starting Kindergarten on Monday August 20th. So I thought I would post some pictures of him from his first year or so of his life.

Well, another sign that my nephew Ethan is growning up. When he was visiting the other day I was helping the boys with a bath. Well, I should say that I had helped the youngest two with thier bath and I had just told Eth that it was his turn. He got to the bathroom and then told me that I did not need to help him. Awe! Well, that was ok with me. He was in my bathroom, which is in my room and I was working on the computer (probably checking out other peoples blogs :>) I heard Eth in the bathroom say, "look at me I am santa" I guess he is still a kid after all. Thank goodness, cause the older he gets the older I get (<:

Of course I had to take a picture, which did not thrill him to much, but he was a good sport and let me take it. Thank you Eth! I love you very much and am glad I got to spend a couple of days with you and your brothers.

This is just a picture I took when I took the three boys down by the little pond we have at the apartment complex I live. Ethan said they should lay there and look at the clouds. Of course just as soon as I snapped this picture they were off onto the next thing.

The pictures of my nephews running threw the sprinkler at Great Grandpa &mas house. They had fun. We had not planned on them doing this so of course they had to go in their undies. When they were getting ready to head to the sprinkler Ethan said "Its a good thing mine look like shorts." His undies looked like biker shorts. You can tell he is growing up. Sure wish I could see them more often. The night before we were going to be taking them back to Indiana Ethan asked who was going to be driving tomorrow. I told him I was and my mom added that I had to work tomorrow too. Ethan said "You had better get good rest because you have a busy day tomorrow." To cute!!

Easton just loves to follow along and do whatever his big brothers do.(<:

Ok, now for the explanation of why my mom and nephews were here. My brother in laws (Rodney) grandmother had been sickly for sometime. And a week ago Sunday they had called the family in. His grandparents live in Indiana, so my sister, mother the three boys and Rodney headed out on Monday evening. I guess it is about a 17 hour drive. They got to Indiana Tuesday evening. My dad and I left Tuesday after I got out of work and headed to Indiana to pick up my mom and nephews for a couple of days. It was only about a 4 hour trip for us. We stayed the night in Anderson Indiana and then headed out on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday night after we got home we took the boys to the park and then out for Sundaes. It was so hot I thought they could use the cool ice cream. :>) I had to work on Thursday, but when I got home we went to my grandparents for supper. After supper my grandma turned on the sprinkler and the boys had so much fun running around in it. I will post some of the pix I got with my phone, but I have to download them yet.
So on Friday after I got home from work we had to take them back to Anderson Indiana. We met Ruth and she picked up the boys and we planed to meet in the morning to say bye. Sadly, shortly after leaving us and heading to the hospital Rodneys grandmother passed away. I did not know her, but she sounded like a great person. She was a pastors wife for many years and a Godly lady. So they have the peace of knowing were she now is.
Well, due to the Funeral and Burial they have just left to head home today. They are in Georgia for the night and will be back home in Stuart Florida tomorrow. So that is the story of how I got to see my nephews for a couple of days.

Ok let me let me start off by saying that I am sooooo mad at myself. My nephews and my mother were here for a few days last week. I will give you those details later. Well, while they were here I did not take pictures because my mom had her camera and I planned on just downloading hers onto my computer. Plus, my sister Sarah was here for a day and she took pictuures too and I knew I could download hers as well. I thought I was sooo smart. I guess that was my first mistake right? I tried loading Sarahs the way I always do and it would not work, and of course I waited until the last minute so I did not have time to figure it out. I thought ok not that big of a deal, I can still get moms before she leaves. Yea right, I forgot untill it was too late. So I am left with just a couple of pictures I took with my camera, so not the best quality but better then nothing. These are pictures I took when they came to see me at work. We have a dog that lives at the Retirement Home, the boys, well Evan and Easton just loved the dog. His name is Coco, and for the most part Coco loved the boys. So that is what these pictures are of. It was cute listening to Easton, who was not talking alot the last time I saw him, saying here Coco. Too cute. I had taken a few videos at another time, but I can not figure out how to download them to my computer. Oh well!

I would like to wish my mother a Happy Birthday! She was not here, so I did not get to spend it with her. But I did want to tell her that I love her and I hope that she had a good day! Love you mom!
