Evan "thinking" about it.
Can't tell Ethan likes to show his "excitement" can you?

Here is a picture of Ethan practicing his Violin. I told my mom when she sent this picture that it looked like Easton was really listening. She said that he had been "reading" a book, but stopped to listen to Ethan. An "Awe" moment I think.

My mom is still in Florida, so when the boys got the box I sent the other day she took pictures with her phone. So they are not the best but here are some recent pix. They are from last night. 2-12-07
Not sure what Easton has in his hand!
I am not sure but there must be something on the floor. Well, I just say that because Ethan and Evan seem to be interested in something on the floor.
I kinda think that Ethan is exaggerating a little. What do you all think?
Can't really tell what Evan is thinking. Maybe Hurry up and get the picture taken grandma.
Easton is enjoying something!!

Well, over last weekend we had some pretty exciting weather.
It was actually a Blizzard all day on Saturday, which was not fun for driving. But it sure is pretty. I had to work in the morning, so those of us at work were watching the conditions outside. There were many many times that we could not see across the street. Of course there were no visitors all day. Usually there is quite afew familys that visit. But boy was it a slowww day. Well, it made for an interesting ride home. But, made it safely. Most things closed early on Saturday and just about everything was closed on Sunday. Schools were closed both Monday and Tuesday due to the extremly cold temperature. I think on Sunday and Monday we were lucky to make 5 degrees. Boy it was cold. Pretty bad when it is like 15 degrees today and we are excited about that. One of the residents yesterday, when I told him it was suppose to be around 20 degrees this weekend, he said "Wow bathingsuit weather." It was great he is one who seems unhappy alot of the times so it was nice to see he has a sense of humor. Just glad it is warming up. Well, at least we are out of the single digets.
The pictures below are from my cell phone so they are not very good, but you get the idea.
This picture was taken outside of the breakroom at work.
That is ice hanging from the roof.
It is hard to tell, but this is one of times that it was really blowing hard out. This was actually not as bad as some of the times.
This is a drift out the back door at work, this was actually early on in the day.
This is the same look as the above picture, but this was after they had shovled. The deck you see is off the building behind ours, you have to go up an incline to get there. That is why it does not look like the snow is that high. As you can tell there was really no need to shovel seems how it just got snowed back over.
This is the only picture I took from home. It was taken out our slider. Onec again it was blowing and snowing, but you can't really tell that from the picture.
I was actually taking pictures to send to my mother who is in warm sunny Florida.
Today is Wednesday and still some of the roads are pretty bad, that is mostly from slush though. The temperature has been really cold as well. To cold for them to use salt to help with the roads. But the sun has been shinning bright all day, so that helps.

My mom called me yesterday and asked me if I had my phone on speaker phone? I did not but quickly did so. I let her know I now did. All of a sudden I could hear Ethan playing his Violin. I guess he had been practicing, and wanted me to hear him (or grandma wanted me to hear him). It was nice though. They asked what songs he was playing and I got them right. So I guess he must be doing pretty good. Just had to share.

Well, I have not posted for a while so I thought I better write something. My mom is down in Florida helping my sister out, so that has left me the not so fun task of taking down all of her snowmen and putting her safari decorations back up. Well if you know me at all you know I am not a decorator, so I am not enjoying this. Call me weird but I found some pictures she had taken and I am trying to fix it by those. The problem I have run into though is that I have pictures from a couple different times and she had changed some of her stuff around in the pictures. So I had been looking for one giraffe that I thought went on the counter and I could not find him. WELL, that is because I had already placed him somewhere else. OH, MY!!! This is so not fun. But I am plugging away at it nonetheless. The good thing is I think ALLLLLL of the snowman are packed away. Except for the plates, I think I will leave them for now. Well, that is what I have been up to, well that and all the other normal things that go along with everyday life.

My sister Sarah was able to come up on New Years weekend so we were able to have some fun while she was here.
Mom showing off her new cell phone cover.
Dad with His new cell phone cover.
Ok, there is a story that goes with this picture. My dad was goofing off, which is not unusaul, when I was trying to take this picture. So we always tell him to not ruin the shot. So he was acting "serious" and I snapped the picture. Or so I thought, as soon as he started to move the package the picture took. It was too funny!
So dad taught her to goof off in pictures too.

Christmas morning at our house. I had to work so mom and dad wanted to get up early and do a little Christmas before I left for work. Which by the way was 5:45 am.
Dad was pretty excited to get a cell phone. He said " Now I am in the 21st Century." I thought maybe he would think it was to hard to figure out thus not neccasary. But he has really enjoyed it so far.
Mom getting some homeade dollies.

Opening the Veggie Tales Nativity Set that Aunt Becky(me) got them.
Not sure what they are doing here, but they seem to be enjoying themselves looking at the Nativity.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Weatherwax gave them for Christmas.

Looks like Easton is reading a story to his "friend"
